Privacy policy
This policy explains how CSeva handles user information for volunteer-led medical coordination in Andhra Pradesh. It is drafted for practical compliance alignment and should be legally reviewed before final production reliance.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed for seva coordination: name, phone number, selected establishment, region, query details, volunteer assignment, ratings, comments, and user-uploaded images. We also retain technical and usage audit events such as page visits, selected filters, service-card opens, form outcomes, browser type, referrer, and hashed device/session/network identifiers for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
How we use information
Information is used to respond to user queries, coordinate with volunteers or establishments, moderate public comments/images, improve directory quality, prevent misuse, handle grievances, and maintain service records.
Public content
Approved comments, ratings, and photos may be visible to the public. Query messages and contact details are not intended to be public. Users should avoid sharing sensitive medical records or identification documents in public submissions.
Sharing
Relevant query details may be shared with assigned volunteers, administrators, and medical establishments only as needed for coordination. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, safety, fraud prevention, or lawful authority.
User rights and requests
Users may request correction, update, or removal of personal information where feasible. Public comments may be edited by users within the configured edit window and may also be moderated by administrators. Requests can be raised through the helpline until a dedicated grievance email is configured.
Data care
We aim to use reasonable security practices appropriate for a non-profit coordination service. No internet system is completely risk-free, so users should avoid submitting documents or details that are not needed for coordination.
Children
Requests for children should be made by a parent or guardian. Public posts should not include identifiable child images or sensitive child health information unless there is clear legal authority and consent.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the platform, hosting, moderation workflow, storage, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
